These are not products and they’re not meant to replace strategic work, but might help answer questions quickly, reduce guesswork, and test ideas.
Content decay checker
Connects to Google Search Console to identify pages to update.
Redirect chain auditor
Follows redirects from a list or URLs to provide the final destination. Accepts a .csv with url as the header (lower case).
Schema compliance checker
Validates schema against Google’s guidelines to ensure that it’s not just present and valid according to schema.org, but compliant with Google’s spam policies, to avoid potential issues.
Webpage copy A/B test generator
Paste a URL to get suggestions on how the headings copy could be improved, suggestions are based on Cialdini’s principles of persuasion. I like to use these as suggestions for a general direction for A/B testing, rather than using them ad verbatim.
Backwards Badinage, a Christmas game
I wanted to play this fun game from the Elis James and John Robins podcast with my family over Christmas. The Games master records phrases into the microphone, which are then played backwards to contestants who try to mimic what they hear. The mimicry is then reversed and a group decision is made as to which contestant’s entry sounds most like the original (non-reversed) phrase.
